Excursion to Parramatta Library to join in the Bibs & Books.

The children applied sunscreen and put their hats on getting ready to go to the library. They enjoyed looking at different people outside while saying hi to them. As we got closer to the library, there were so many friends who wanted to join the storytelling time.

We took a selfie at the ground floor and took a lift to get to level 1. There were so many friends and even younger babies. Aiden and Anaya said hi to them. We sat down on the cushion and waited for a teacher to start the session. We sang so many different songs and one of our favourites was ‘Smooth Road, Bumpy Road’.

Arika was busy crawling around and said hi to everyone. Nico looked around and giggled when the educator played ‘Round and Round the Garden’.

They also enjoyed little snack time while having baby mum mum biscuits.

Through this experience, the children developed their language skills while engaging in enjoyable experience. They also broadened their understanding of the world in which they live while interacting with a wide diversity of people.
